Our Philosophy
It is simple: your body is designed to heal itself. At Cornerstone Healing our job is to get your body working properly so you can heal yourself. We will help fix the cause of your problem, not give you a mere cover up. In addition to your specialized treatment, you will be instructed in nutrition and exercises to help you heal faster. Keep in mind that healing is a process and it takes time. How you treat yourself will greatly influence how fast (or slow) you heal.
The doctors strive to treat each patient as they would want to be treated. This means they will fix your problem in the fastest, most comprehensive, long term, least expensive way possible. The doctors will give you recommendations based on their objective findings; but it is always your choice to receive as much or as little care as you desire. Obviously to get your maximum results you will want to follow through with all recommendations. If the doctors cannot help you, they will tell you on your first visit. If the doctors think that you could be helped by the services of another professional, they will refer you to that person.
After the major problem has been resolved, some patients choose to come in for regular “tune ups”. This keeps them healthy and prevents any major problems from arising. But, there are a lot of patients who we fix once and don’t see again for years until they have a new injury. Whatever you choose for yourself is fine. Keep in mind that the more active a person is, generally the more frequent they might need to come in for “tune ups”. The more active you are, the more you are putting your body into situations where injuries can occur.
Your health is your responsibility. We hope that we will give you a huge push in the right direction to not only help you to heal now, but to lead you into a lifestyle that can pay dividends in your health for the rest of your life.
Helping You Heal is Our Mission.
